Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is an Canadian actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Wellington and made her debut as Flora McGrath when she played her role in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 for Best supporting Actress. Canadian-born New Zealand actor who won the Academy Award as a youngster for Best Supporting Actress for acting as the bright and interesting daughter of Holly Hunter's lead role on the film The Piano. When she answered an audition call, she won the role in the role of Flora McGrath, the daughter of a deaf Scottish piano player who moved into New Zealand in mid-19th-century to marry.
