Dolly-Parton

born on January. 19th of 1946 Locust Ridge Tenn into a low-income family that would ultimately comprise 12 kids Dolly Parton learned early to get away from the struggles of life by using her vivid and expansive imagination. Her songs were written before she was able to read or write. The guitar that she first received was presented by her mother when she was eight. She began singing in the Knoxville Tenn station by the age of 11. Gold Band Records is a tiny, independent label. Although she became a local star while in high school, her ambitions were bigger. After she finished her high school, in 1964 she moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde was her first album to be charted at the top of Monument Records. Porter Wagoner's syndicated TV show was in need of a new singer at around the time. Parton took the job in 1966. She then was signed to RCA Records in 1968, and then the Grand Ole Opry was founded in the year 1969. She quit Wagoner's act in 1974 after her own songs such as Joshua Coat of Many Colors & Jolene oversold her collaborations. Parton following the breakup of their partnership with Wagoner she wrote the song"I'll Always Be Loved" by You and saw it climb to Number. In 1974, Parton's song I Will Always Love You reached the No.
