Lucy Liu is a voice actress singer and director. She's also an actress. She's attractive and skilled actress that has inspired numerous Asian actors to achieve success in Hollywood. An array of highly successful initial roles in a popular TV show led to her becoming famous for joining the cast on Ally McBeal, where she appeared as Ling Woo. It was a moment of fame that led to film roles such as Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. For Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an impressive performance in the role of Japanese crime lord O-Ren Shii. She also played leading characters in failed box office films like Rise: Blood Hunter. Then, she was a voice actress for animated films including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's small-screen role as a character in Cashmere Mafia did not produce anything of note. Southland, the critically-acclaimed drama police drama that Liu starred in on a regular basis, was a role which allowed her to be a renowned actress.
